Lewis B. Hunter, Jr., CPA
A 1974 graduate of the University of Florida, Lewis founded Hunter & Associates in 1990 with a vision not only to help his clients preserve their assets, but also to help them grow. He is a member of the Results Accountants Network and the Institute of Management Accountants, a Certified Valuation Accountant and Member of the AICPA, FICPA, IMA and NACVA. Lewis began his career with the international accounting and consulting firm of Price Waterhouse.
Margaret Stevens, CPA
University of Virginia graduate Meg Stevens began her career at Arthur Andersen, where she gained extensive practical experience in accountancy, including audits, budget forecasting, cash flow management and variance analysis. She is an experienced Business Development consultant, and - to the delight of our clients and staff - technically proficient in a variety of accounting software programs.
Yan Cumper, CPA
An experienced CPA with international credentials - including a degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science - Yan is also an adept analyst and forecaster. Her professional experience in both the corporate and small-business spheres gives her real-world insight into a full spectrum of client issues and challenges. Yan is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.
Violet S. Selim
When she's not working on her Master's degree in Accounting at the University of North Florida, Violet doubles as troubleshooter and client liaison specialist at Hunter & Associates. Her career goal is to become a Certified Public Accountant working in compliance.
Angela Metheny
A recent graduate of the University of North Florida, Angela has an Accounting degree and nearly ten years of work experience in both the public and private sectors. She currently uses her skills to perform audits and help our clients with monthly and year-end compilations and taxes.
Barbara W. Grissom
As Hunter & Associates' invaluable Director of Operations, Barbara manages workflow and keeps our firm accounting records. She also helps clients with financial statements and tax returns, reimbursement applications and other needs. She is a graduate of Jacksonville University with a degree in Management.
Susan M. Van De Water
Susan is Hunter & Associates' Administrative Assistant and Director of First Impressions. When she's not greeting clients, she's busy processing our financial statements, tax returns and corporate applications and performing general office duties. Susan has worked in the administrative field for over twenty years, and brings enthusiasm as well as experience to her work.
